Short trip to Koh Larn in Pattaya

When staying in Pattaya, it is recommended to go to Koh Larn.
The more beautiful beach can be enjoyed. 

I went to Koh Larn twice during this stay.

  Day 1  

The weather on this day is cloudy and windy.
Get on a ferry at 8:00 am, hoping for the weather to change sunny.
And arrived at Tawaen Beach Pier.
The wind is blowing strongly, I did not notice it on the sea.

Most of the passengers get off and the lightened ship is much swayed by the waves.
The passengers still on board were struggling to get off.

The weather does not recover.

Furthermore, unfortunately, my stomach has gone bad.

So this day I withdrew. Avoided reckless behavior while traveling.

  Day 2  

It is a challenge again.

As before, I arrived at Tawaen Beach Pier by ferry.

The weather and my physical condition are good on the day.

Tawaen Beach

Here is the most recommended beach.

There is a pier for liner ferry and it has beautiful water.

There is a floating pier in center of the beach.
Various tour boats will be find here.

Walk this pier.

It shakes by the waves, but it can be walked with safety because it is wide.

Para glider

Moved to view area to see the beach from above.

Then there were people who enjoy paragliding in front of Giant Monk in Guanyin Temple.

They were floating in the sky comfortably.

I go further up from here.

Tawan Beach View Point

There is a statue in the center of observation deck and the beach can be overlooked.

Buddha's Footprint

It can be arrived here after climbing steep stairs.

Sweat a lot. However, the beautiful sight can be seen from the stair.

This seems to be the footprint.

I was surrounded by dogs on the way, when you come please be careful.

Walking Pattaya Park Tower

This tower is the tallest building in Pattaya.
However, it is my impression that is not busy season every visit.

  Information  

The tower is 170 meter tall.
From the rooftop of the top floor you can get off the ground in three ways using wires. Tower Jump, Speed shuttle and Sky shuttle.
Hotel, water park, amusement park are attached on site.

I have known the monorail existence, but I had not seen train moving.
This is first time that I saw it move.
When I saw it, got happy feeling and took video.

Pattaya Floating Market

Location : Jomtien area
It is about 8km south from Central Pattaya.

This market is along Sukhumvit Rd and Railway, but it is away from the city area, so transportation is not convenience. It is recommended to rent motorcycle in advance.

By the way, this time I visited to the railway station first.

And head to this market.

I was a little confused at the entrance here.

There is an entrance under the ship monument, but the staff told me not to enter from here. The staff said that there is another entrance on the right side.

I turned to the right according to it.

This is the place I recommend for enjoying the ocean view.
You can see Larn island in front of here.

Looking back to the right, you can see Pattaya Bay.

And on the sea, boats to Larn Island are on the way.

Visited several beach in Larn island Pattaya

Last night I suddenly decided to go to this island.
Got on a ferry departing at 8:00 AM.
At that time I thought that this ship would arrive at Na baan pier.
But the ship arrived at Tawaen Beach Pier.

The beauty of the sea is completely different from Na baan pier.
Fortunately I was able to arrive directly on this beautiful beach.

The inclination of the mountain road was very tight.
But the view from there was very wonderful.

Arrived at this beach over a mountain on foot.
Most people used motor cycles.

  Samae Beach                                    

And arrived at this beach which is close to Thian beach.
Here, there is a View Point that can overlook the coast.

Night Market in Wat Chai Mongkon

A temple adjacent to downtown.
The market here is always very crowded.

This place is located more than 20 km from Pattaya downtown.
Here is a little-known but good place for foreign tourists.

Let's go from the Sukhumvit Rd.

I got a clockwise course.

 It is entrance from Sukhumvit Rd
I had a hard time finding this entrance.

 Afterwards you can arrive at the temple by proceeding according to the sign.

As I went further, the view point existed.
The stairs were quite hard, but the view was nice.
