Bus terminal near Mae Klong Station

Took a walk around the station.
And I found a small bus terminal.

Terminal Facilities

Counters are provided for each destination.

Mostly it was written in Thai language.

This is the only English notation.

If you couldn't get on the last train you can return to Bangkok by bus from here.

Walking in Mae Klong Railway Market along rail track

This track market is very famous.
It is often seen in Thailand's introduction video.

Took a round trip from the station by walking this market

Walking from the station side

Started walking from the railroad crossing in front of the station.

The track functions as a sidewalk.
A lot of tension rods are characteristic.

It is a place that passed through this market.

Return way to the station

It is the entrance to return way.
Cafes follow on both sides.

Products on the market were almost all items for local residents.
Did not find anything that tourists like.

Came back to the station.

Walking through Mae Klong Station

Took a walk in the station.

Around the station entrance.

There are dining rooms and kiosks on both sides of the station premises.

Ticket office
It is closed several minutes before the train departs.

Went ahead to the station back side.

This is the end of the track.
Mae Klong river is flowing behind.

And there is a ferry platform.

Looking around in Mae Klong Station

A lot of tourists visited this station.
This station is one of the most famous stations in Thailand.
The train passing through the market on the railway is magnificent.

Train departure

It is the departure scene of the train that I got on.

Train arrival

Waited for train arrival at the back of the station.

Many tourists were blocking the way of arrival train.
I understand that they are crazy about photography, but let's keep manners.
It is very dangerous for people to close the way of the train.
When the accident happens, the travel of the parties will be spoiled.

Got on the train from Ban Laem to Mae Klong

City : Tha Chalom, Samut Sakhon, Thailand
Railway line : Mae Klong Line

Got on the 7:30 train.

Enjoy about 1 hour trip.

Ban Laem station

In the early morning.
Passengers waiting for the train are sparse.

Passage station

The passage stations which have local color even more than the stations on Mahachai line.

Meals during the travel in Thailand

Bought it at a supermarket the day before.

Location : Food court in Tesco Lotus.
I came here for getting rice dish.

Compared the dishes of each booth and decided here.

The price is 45B.

After all, fried rice is steady tasty.
I wonder if the amount of meat was small.

Dinner

Walked Pattaya south Rd for dinner.
Here is a small restaurant I found there.

Stir Fried Minced Pork with Century Egg and Basil
ผัดกะเพราไข่เยี่ยวม้า

The price was 100 B with this dish and bottle water.
There were plenty of chili peppers in this dish.

It was really spicy.
But it was very delicious.
Century Egg is a good accent.
I'll come here to eat it again.

Board a ferry from Ban Laem to Mahachai

City : Mahachai, Samut Sakhon, Thailand

On the day I went back by ferry to stay at Mahachai.

Name of street where Chalom pier is located.

Passengers waiting for the ship.

Enjoy a few minutes of river cruise.

Arrived at Mahachai pier.
Many passengers were waiting include motorcicle.

Next day, planning to go to Mae Klong Station.
